Our July 15th meeting will feature a tech talk on Data Science by Karanbir Sodhi, Director of Business Intelligence and Web Analytics at IMVU. Mr. Sonhi has been with IMVU since 2010, focusing on the following initiatives:
Extensively used big data to gain insights that supported decision making to improve revenue and retention
Used data analytics to improve product performance, promotions and customer acquisition
Identified fraud and helped with risk management
Developed prediction tools/models using machine learning
A graduate of Cornell University and University of New South Wales, he has over thirteen years of leadership and consulting experience in big data analytics, business intelligence, product management and solutions development.
